How to give options on a bat file?

I'll make this completely straightforward. Say i want two possible outcomes on a bat file. how do i give the person using the bat file the option of 1 thing happening or another thing based on what they type. I came here because i don't even know what to search. Ex: i want it to say "Calculator?" if they say "yes" or "y" then a calculator emulator opens, but if they say "no" or "n" it doesn't open and goes to the next step. Just as well, how do i connect the answer of a bat file question to what happens... if you get what i mean.
