Hello guys....i bought tvs apache 160rtr...i cant able to put neutral from 1st gear? please hlp?

i can go smoothly and fastly but when i need to stop the bike i came to 1st gear and then when try to put 1st gear its shifting to 2nd one? so please help guys.....Apache is yamaha model type of gear........ThAnKs In AdVaNcE
